Key Stakeholders:

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) is the governing body for grassroots and elite rugby in England, with 2,000 rugby clubs in its membership. Its income is made up of funding from sponsorship, government, ticket sales, merchandising, hospitality and catering, a hotel, travel and leisure companies and TV rights.

Twickenham Experience Ltd (TEL) is the RFU’s joint venture with Compass Group Plc, which manages and operates all match day catering, hospitality and bar services as well as non-match day catering, conference and event management services at Twickenham Stadium.

Keith Prowse (KP) is TEL’s official match day hospitality sales partner and has the responsibility for hospitality sales within the stadium.

England Rugby Hospitality (ERH) is the entity being set up by the RFU and supported by KP that sits within TEL to market and sell all match day hospitality within Twickenham Stadium ( including the new east stand )from 2018/19, to include all Boxes (2000 guests) and all Suites ( c 8655 guests).

Nature and Scope:

An opportunity is available for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics professional to join Keith Prowse for ERH as a CRM Analyst to support the CRM requirements of ERH as part of the exciting new developments at Twickenham Stadium.

This role would suit an organised, proactive individual who will work closely with the ERH Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring the CRM solution is used effectively and in line with the Sales Process.

With proven, relevant analytical skills and experience the successful candidate will lead the ERH’s data and insights strategy – developing methodology (e.g. segmentation and appropriate models) to optimise marketing and communications and, ultimately, grow the customer base and revenue.

With excellent organisational, numerical / statistical and collaborative skills this role will interact with colleagues across KP and the RFU in order to deliver valuable insight wherever needed.

The CRM Analyst will work in partnership with RFU and Keith Prowse colleagues to manage the reporting requirements of ERH.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, maintain and execute advanced modelling and analytics of Customer data
  • Design, develop, monitor and report on test and learn programmes
  • Advise on campaign planning
  • Advise on changes to campaigns based on analysisWork with the RFU’s Customer Strategy Marketing team to develop insights to support the Marketing team in building integrated e-communication campaigns to deliver ERH objectives
  • Manage all ERH reporting requirements, from the production of custom views, Excel exports and detailed analysis through to the use of Power BI dashboards.
  • Helping to determine the analytical tools required then implementing and optimising their usage
  • First line support on the Dynamics CRM solution
  • Actively collaborate with ERH, RFU & KP colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of strategic, business and operational plans
  • Continually consult with the users to get the most out of the CRM solution, in line with best practice
  • Act as an ambassador for, and promote the best interests of ERH, RFU & KP at all times, including the promotion of the Core Values
  • Undertake such other duties as maybe required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibilities of the post and the needs of the organisation


Person Specification

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Microsoft Dynamics as a super user
  • Microsoft Dynamics data structure
  • Microsoft Dynamics basic administration (views/workflows)
  • Reporting in Excel
  • Basic or advanced Power BI
  • Process Management
  • Business Consultancy
  • Practical experience of managing, processing, analysing and reporting on both business and consumer data
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and communicate this to colleagues at all levels
  • Demonstrative experience of compiling and presenting marketing data analysis showing a good understanding of patterns and trends
  • Effective communicator and problem solver with cross-functional awareness
  • Adept at multi-tasking and managing projects to deliver to deadlines, targets and budgets
  • An enthusiastic team player who demonstrates reliability and tenacity
